1st South East Asia Grid Forum

Purpose

The primary purpose of the inaugural SEAGF Workshop is to provide a forum for national level discussions on setting up grid infrastructures, deploying applications, and facilitating coordination of projects of common interest in South East Asia.

Target Audience

Interested party (practitioner & researcher) from South East Asian countries are invited to submit an abstract to indicate their areas of interest and desired outcomes from participation in the SEAGF Workshop.

Format

The program will comprise invited talks, updates on respective country efforts, as well as roundtable discussions.

There is no charge for attending the SEAGF Workshop.

Co-located Event

The SEAGF Workshop will be followed by a 2-day EGEE Tutorial on 9 – 10 February 2006. The course will be conducted by Dr. Valeria Ardizzone (Italy), Dr. Emidio Giogio (Italy) and Dr. Ruediger Berlich (Germany). The tutorial costs S$399 (including GST) per person.
