INVITATION TO BRIEFINGS ON IDA (T) 828 and IDA (T) 831: IDA PERIOD BULK TENDERS FOR VIDEO HOSTING AND STREAMING SERVICES AND GRID SERVICES RESPECTIVELY

1. We would like to invite you for a briefing session on IDA period bulk tenders IDA (T) 828 and IDA (T) 831.

2. IDA (T) 828 is a period bulk contract for supply of Video Hosting and Streaming Service for Government Ministries / Departments (including all Government Schools, Government Aided Schools, Independent Schools and Specialized Independent Schools that have access to GeBiz and Government Intranet), Organs of State, Statutory Boards and Participating Entities.

3. IDA (T) 831 is a period bulk contract for supply of grid services for Government Ministries/Departments (including all Government Schools, Government Aided Schools, Independent Schools and Specialized Independent Schools that have access to GeBiz and Government Intranet), Statutory Boards, Organs of State, and Participating Entities.

4. The briefing session will elaborate on the services offered under these tenders. The awarded contractors will be present to share and take questions on their services.

DETAILS ON THE IDA (T) 828 and IDA (T) 831 BULK TENDERS

7. IDA (T) 828 bulk tender aims to provide a suite of services for hosting and streaming of unclassified videos over internet, based on a utility model (or pay-per-use model). Under this utility model, agencies will only be charged based on actual usage of services (i.e. for video storage and amount of video data streamed by viewers over the internet).

8. IDA (T)-831 bulk tender for Grid Services is aligned with Government’s objective of achieving greater efficiency at the whole of Government level to achieve fiscal prudence and greater efficiency by aggregating end users’ demand and provide shared facilities to achieve economies of scale. It is offered on a pay-per-use utility model and customers will only be charged based on their actual usage. There is no minimum commitment required from Government agencies.

9. The services provided under the bulk tenders IDA (T) 828 and IDA (T) 831 are only for the unclassified data over internet. The contractors have CWC monitoring in place for this purpose.

11. Please note that a 1% administration fee (subject to GST) based on the order amount will be levied for the usage of these contract.

12. Government Ministries/Departments, Organs of State, Statutory Boards and Participating Entities can procure from the period bulk tender by issuing a RFQ to all the awarded Contractors and raising a Purchase Order through GeBIZ or Order Acceptance Form to the selected Contractor.
