LAUNCH OF GRID COMPUTING COMPETENCY CERTIFICATION AND APPOINTMENT
OF SINGAPORE POLYTECHNIC AS TRAINING SERVICE PROVIDER
The
Grid Computing Competency Certification (GCCC) program
was officially launched on Monday, 10 October 2005 by Mr.
Richard Lim, Chairman of the National Grid Steering Committee
at an MOU signing ceremony where the National Grid Office
formally appointed Singapore Polytechnic as its training
service
provider for GCCC Part 1. This is an important
step being taken towards enhancing the competency and proficiency
of ICT professionals in Singapore, particularly in terms
of building our expertise in Grid Computing.
