Grid Computing Competency Certification

Introduction

The Grid Computing Competency Certification (GCCC) is developed to provide a benchmark for the competency in Grid Computing. It will help to develop capabilities of the Infocomm professionals in Grid Computing to enable them to meet the needs of the industry, in line with the strategic thrusts of Developing Infocomm Competencies in Key Economic Sectors and Developing Globally Competitive Infocomm Professional set out by the iN2015 Infocomm Competency Council.

The National Grid Office (NGO) as the Certification Body for the GCCC shall be responsible for the policies, procedures and administration of the certification. NGO has set up the GCCC Committee, which consists of representatives from institutes of higher learning, for the management and administration of GCCC.
