Abstract

Today’s HPC datacenters, with static compute resources is not structured to appropriately match supply with wildly fluctuating demand in a cost effective and timely manner. What is required is a way to create a shared, private cloud computing infrastructure from physical and virtual resources to deliver application environments according to workload-aware and resource-aware policies.
